Connect Your Raptorex Machine to Your Computer

You can download our own software, the recommended third-party GRBL/FluidNC control software and USB drivers from here. Before connecting your machine via USB, you need to install the driver first, then the control software.

Raptorex Software

Raptorex CNC Controller COMING SOON

Our own control software developed for Raptorex machines. Manage your GRBL/FluidNC compatible machines from a single interface. Will be released for Windows, macOS and Linux.

This software is under development. It will be downloadable from this page once released. In the meantime, you can use third-party software.

Recommended Third-Party Software

Candle v11.2

OpenBuilds Control v1.0.390

An advanced control application for GRBL-based machines. Includes a connection setup wizard, 3D toolpath view and machine setup tools. Open source — published on GitHub.

Note: Candle and OpenBuilds Control are compatible with all GRBL/FluidNC based Raptorex machines. Both programs are open source and developed on GitHub; you can visit their GitHub pages for the latest releases.

Required Drivers

Install before connecting your machine via USB
CH340 USB Driver Official (WCH)

Driver for the CH340 USB-serial chip used on the Raptorex 4-Axis Control Board and current boards. Install this driver if no port appears when you connect the board to your computer.

CP210x USB Driver Official (Silicon Labs)

Driver for the CP210x USB-UART chip used on older-generation Raptorex boards and some auxiliary modules. If you are not sure which chip is installed, ask our support team.

Tip: Windows usually installs the CH340 driver automatically. If no port appears, it shows up under Device Manager → "Other Devices" with a yellow exclamation mark; installing the driver fixes it. After installing the macOS driver, you may need to approve the installation under System Settings → Privacy & Security.
